We read every message. Whether you have a question about a recipe, spotted an error in our research citations, want to collaborate, or just want to tell us what’s working in your kitchen — we want to hear it.

What We Cannot Do
We are a publication, not a clinic. We do not offer personalized medical advice, diet plans for specific health conditions, or one-on-one nutrition consultations. If you have a health condition, please consult a licensed registered dietitian or your physician before making major dietary changes. Every article on the site cites primary peer-reviewed research so your clinician can review the same evidence we did.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do your recipes come from?
Our recipes are anchored to specific Mediterranean regions (Crete, Andalusia, the Levant, Sicily, Sardinia) and developed in our test kitchen against the PREDIMED adherence pattern. Every recipe lists weight and volume measurements so they translate to any kitchen.
How do you cite research?
Every health claim links to a primary peer-reviewed source. We prefer randomized controlled trials (PREDIMED, Lyon Heart Study), large prospective cohorts (EPIC, UK Biobank), and meta-analyses. See our Health Benefits page for the master citation list.
Are your recipes vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free?
The Mediterranean diet is naturally heavy on plants and legumes, so many of our recipes are vegetarian. We tag vegan and gluten-free recipes explicitly. The diet is not strictly any of those things — fish, lamb, and small amounts of dairy are part of the traditional pattern.
Do you accept guest posts or paid promotions?
We accept editorial contributions from registered dietitians, food scientists, and chefs with credentials in Mediterranean cuisine. We disclose every paid relationship per FTC rules — see our Affiliate Disclosure.
How can I support the site?
Read articles, cook recipes, share what works. Subscribe to the free 7-day starter kit — that puts you on our weekly Sunday digest, which is the single best signal of who we’re writing for.
